Areas of Focus

People seek therapy for many different reasons. Sometimes the concern is specific—such as relationship difficulties, anxiety, or distressing thoughts or experiences. Other times it is less defined: feeling stuck, empty, disconnected, or misunderstood. Therapy can provide a supportive space to explore these experiences, develop insight, and move toward meaningful change.

Specialized Focus: Male Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse

A central area of focus in my practice is working with male survivors of childhood sexual abuse. This work is grounded in trauma-informed therapy and an understanding of how early experiences of abuse can affect identity, relationships, self-worth, emotional regulation, and one’s sense of safety in the world. I offer a space where these experiences can be explored without judgment and at a pace that feels manageable.

Additional Areas of Focus

In addition to this specialization, I work with adults and couples experiencing a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Trauma and PTSD
  • Sexual abuse
  • Relationship issues
  • Self-esteem concerns
  • Men’s issues
  • Major life transitions
  • Coming out and LGBTQ+ identity-related concerns

These concerns often overlap, and therapy is tailored to the whole person rather than a single issue or diagnosis.

Therapy for Individuals and Couples

I work with adults and couples, and my approach is collaborative and responsive to each client’s unique needs and goals. Whether you are seeking support around a specific challenge or navigating a broader sense of dissatisfaction or disconnection, therapy can help you develop greater clarity, resilience, and self-understanding.
